  1. Treasurer Report- report given at meeting. 
    1. Expenses on last report noted- newer report snacks w/ the Grinch. Almost at $1K pre approved budget. 
    2. PBIS donations dropped off 12/10. 3-4 versions given (reusable bottles, jumbo pencils, and inspirational wrist bands) leaving space for other ideas.  Items being purchased throughout the year $600 left. 
    3. Admin- suppliers such as coffee, fruit baskets – McMaster’s loss & check w CW Lewis Holiday shop and teacher national cookie day and Spirit wear order too at PreK. 
    4. 2 reimbursements w/ Tye currently and keep track those things coming out. 
  2. Principal’s Report
    1. ARB thanked HSC for dinner on P/T night – nice touch. 
    2. Part of NJ PBIS program w the state – Mullen has been asked to be a ‘Showcase School’. They recognize the difference and extremely excited to be a part and share ideas. (March 27th, 3 people being sent – Mr. Regn and two other teachers to present. 
    3. Climate especially w/ 6th graders- lessons last week – partnered w/ Simon Wisenhall Center – through JCC through Cherry Hill – teachers reported see positive changes from this. 
    4. Thanks to parents and HSC to Winter Wonderland – last full day before break to spend their PBIS for special activities. Shy on candy for Bingo- they will go to Sams Club to pick up items. Tomorrow they will go into inventory and see if they are short and see if HSC can support. Money from dances to go towards too. 
    5. 8th grade cap/gowns – info going out next week. Banner and picture forms will be sent out shortly and definitely before Winter break.  Boys collared short to wear- clothes underneath and more direction will be sent out next week and then again back in January.
      1. Some take various styles – with or with out hat, holding diploma etc. Parents can decide.

    1. November Teacher of the Month
      1. Mr. Albano teacher of the month- appreciate his help in organizing.
    2. Help in the Jaguar Den
      1. This week and next week need help – online link sent and link on FB page and Remind for the volunteer needed. 
      2. Students have been so excited about products for the Holiday items running until 12/19 and may extend until 12/22.  12/22 will be difficult because of Winter Wonderland. 12/19 is date to end. 12/23 is ½ day.

  6. Recap of Events for mid-November/December
    1. November 25: Radical Reptiles Program @ 6:00pm
      1. Sight to see – animals were petted, snake shown. 41 families came. 
    2. December 3: Wingstop Fundraiser

    3. December 5: Winterfest @ 6:00pm- cancelled 
    4. December 10: Holiday Concert @ 7:00pm

Notes: 

  • When back in January through March– talent show, volleyball event, March madness (king of Karaoke- staff member – competition to guess who the king is.) 
  • NJHS or Helping Hands to volunteer? ARB said it can be done- matter of setting it up. 
  • Laurel Lanes can be rented/Maple Shade. – not a lot of money and there is something they do in Wash Twp/bowling instead of movie suggested in January.
    • 30 strikes/Whitehorse Pike, Stratford still open. (not on Tuesday!)
  • Cinemark – old time, cartoon movie- 100 people – was not bad to look at.

      1. Vouchers sent home today- can purchase online
      2. Email or text at HSC to get one. 
    2. December 17: Evening Holiday Shop/Snacks with the Grinch 5:00pm-8:00pm
      1. Games, activities, ring toss, bowling, Grinch snacks, and holiday shopping. 
      2. Photos w/ Grinch for fee. 
      3. Sign up genius being sent on Monday for this.
        1. Middle schoolers would like to help – one student asked about dressing up as Grinch and helping more with preschool.  
    3. December 19: Spirit Day
    4. December 22: Winter Wonderland- PBIS pts for activities. 
    5. December 23: Half Day Begins Winter Break

  3. New Business
    1. January HSC Event Proposal: Movie Night at Wash. Twp AMC Avatar Fire/Ash – ON HOLD (250 people)
      1. 3 hour running time – survey sent out to kids if want to go. 
      2. Reserve entire theater – can bring own snacks and discounted snacks there. 
      3. Only kid friendly movie in January. 
      4. Last yr was Cinemark- Black History sat 103 children however the children talked entire movie.
        1. Movie etiquette was/has gone – talking etc.

  1. Questions/Concerns
    1. Health/wellness class – yoga class – happening in January around 2 p.m.
      1. Online too. 
      2. ½ day on 1/16/26 please look out for Yoga class.
    2. Students having access to seeing clubs available.
      1. Parent concerned about child getting involved- signups missed.
        1. Video announcements every morning. 
        2. Mullen daybreak and webpages on Mullen the clubs are on there. 
        3. 6th graders have been told/reminded to check these pages/activities and teach them how to email the advisors of the club to teach them to be self reliant and independent and keep doing that with them.
